Summary
When managing a large number of users in DMC across multiple projects, it may be beneficial to add users in bulk as Project Viewers for a new project, which can be done using Groups in Keycloak. Group membership can be automated with LDAP configuration fields.

How to create and manage groups
Create the Group
- Navigate to Keycloak in DMC and login with admin account.
- Open left-hand menu and navigate to Manage > Groups.
- Click the Create Group button and name the new group.
Manage Users in Group
- In Keycloak Manage Groups, search for the new group, or select it from the list.
- If LDAP has been configured for Keycloak, the Role mapping tab can be used to set up automated membership.
- Users can be added individually via the Members tab and clicking Add member.
- Groups can have child groups, and can also be added as a member to other groups.
Add Group as Project Viewer
- Navigate back to DMC and select Project Settings from the menu.
- Select the project from the list.
- Select the Permissions tab.
- Locate and select the group under Add Viewers to Project.
